I am fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to study abroad for 6 weeks this summer in Cape Town, South Africa.
While in Cape Town I will be taking classes at University of Cape Town and working work with local medical clinics and townships--needless to say, a very exciting and life changing summer.
I want to share with you both the excitement and challenges that come my way as I travel to a part of the world I never imagined I would visit--from the difficulties of working in HIV/AIDS clinics to the joys of exploring the beautiful cape and national parks, my story is here.
